Excellent clarity and it turns out that they float as claimed. 4 stars because the fit for me was not perfect. I have no hesitation recommending them. I wear contacts so I needed good eye protection. These kept all the water out of my eyes. I knew that since the foam seals all around your eye they may have fogging issues. While they did fog after getting wet, they quickly clear up and stay clear once you get up to speed. I'm buying another pair to have as a backup and in white because the blue ones were a little hard to see in the water when they came off (I hit the water hard).
